Daily Programs

Gurdwara offers devotional services in accordance with the religious teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and the subsequent Sikh Gurus that are enshrined in the holy Guru Granth Sahib. The Trustees make sure that the Gurdwara is strictly managed according to its constitutional objectives and byelaws.

In addition to the daily recital of the holy Guru Granth Sahib ("GURBANI"), the following prayer services are performed regularly: 


Monday to Saturday:
"Guru Ka Langar" is served daily following the morning prayers.


6.30 PM - 8.00 PM: SHABAD KIRTAN by Children
"Guru Ka Langar" is served after the prayers


5.00 AM - 6.00 AM: SUKHMANI SAHIB.
"Guru Ka Langar" is served after the prayers.


8.00 AM - 11.00 AM: ASA DI VAR & KATHA KIRTAN.
"Guru Ka Langar" is served after the prayers.

Special Program 

In AkhandPath all the three days "Guru Ka Langgar is always served


Gurpurab’s are celebrated with lots of fervor, affection, enthusiasm and traditional gaiety with some Gurpurab’s being celebrated on a larger scale such as:


•    Guru Nanak Dev Ji (The 1st Sikh Guru)
•    Guru Arjan Dev Ji (The 5th Guru who compiled and greatly contributed to the Guru Granth Sahib)
•    Guru Gobind Singh Ji (The 10th Guru who founded the Khalsa Panth)

•    Diwali is also celebrated in a big way with DEEP MALA in the evening from 6.30PM onwards.


Special prayers are read on days that are of significance importance for India and Indonesia, e.g. Independence Day.

A Sikh literally means disciple / learner. Hence, continuous learning is fundamentel and at the core of a Sikhs life.

The Gurdwara provides various avenues for the Sangat to engage in continous quest for knowledge and learning.


Punjabi / Sikhi Classes


Every Sunday:

10.00 AM - 11.30 AM : Punjabi & Sikhi Class for Children & Youth
Children from the ages of 4 - 17 years come together to learn more about the Mother Tongue & their religion in very fun & engaging sessions.

The children & youth are split up into various classes based on the age



Gurmat Sangeet Classes


The Gurdwara also actively teaches Gurmat Sangeet through Waja & Tabla Classes conducted by experienced members of the Sangat.

We are continuously organizing new and exciting events for all age groups, ranging from the young children to our Older Generation, and are always happy to receive more help & support. Please feel free to write to us to express any desire to do Sewa.
